Weapons for baseball

Hey, Sports is entertainment. Allegedly.

Weapons for baseball

I've been trying to think of ways to make baseball more interesting for those of us ADD out there.
One Idea is put a guy between bases to physically stop the runner maybee even give the runner a club to fight his way to the next base......of course the ball must be in play.

Anyone have any Ideas to make baseball more exicting? They don't have to be a extreme.

If we're going that route, I think just one landmine planted in a random space anywhere (infield, outfield, foul territory), would add an element of excitement to the game. :D

Baseball meets the Society for Creative Anachronism? A-Rod and Manny Ramierez going at each other with Nerf swords? I guess if attendance falls it could happen!

Hidden boxes in the infield, from while randomly spring the mothers of various players.

Or, for more of a threat, ex-girlfriends and wives.

A secret password to steal second. Changed every inning. Must be yelled upon taking off for said base.

During last years' ALCS between the Red Sox and Indians, the Indians brought out the ex-girlfriend of Josh Beckett (who was the starting pitcher for the Sox that night) to sing the national anthem before the game.
