Script Frenzy

Anyone else doing Script Frenzy this year?

Ugh! I may be the only one I know who hates NanoWriMo time, be it in novel or script incarnation. Each year I dread having to hear my friends talk about how wonderful their stories (or in this case, scripts) are coming along. The little bands of support and solidarity they form to urge each other along make me want to rip my hair out.

Yes, I know this hatred is irrational, and yes, I know I have no good reason to dislike it, but I do.

That being said, I wish anyone who decides to tackle such a project good luck. Perhaps if I took part in more things like script frenzy, I wouldn't take so long to finish my own writing projects.
